To be used at the right place at the right time

my childhood

I played this ALL the time when I was in high school.  Don’t judge me.  You did it too.

R.I.P Second Floor of the Imaginations Pavilion. I have so many memories of you <3

I’m curious … how recently was this video taken?  I had no idea that a lot of the attractions were still up there.  One of my CM friends told me that it was essentially empty and for a while used for private events but now is just locked up and not used for anything at all.  This is just so depressing, knowing it’s all collecting dust up there.  They could easily re-open it and update the attractions.  Imagine how that would help in the peak season as a cool place for guests to hang out.  The whole attraction is just a sad waif of its former glory and the current “playground” is a joke that no one bothers with anymore, either.  They could do so much with this pavilion now with today’s technology.  But no, let’s screw around with Test Track and worry about re-naming the MK parking lots.

Vintage EPCOT Center Merchandise by partyhare on Flickr.

Do you see that Figment bank on the top?  I bought that when I went on a field trip in 5th grade.  God, I wish I knew where it is/if I still have it somewhere.
Yes, back in the day, Central Florida kids used to go on field trips to EPCOT Center.  And for free.
